The Retribution of Mara Dyer

The Retribution of Mara Dyer - Michelle Hodkin It may have been a little slow at the start, but as I continue the ride, I am drowned with all the intensity of emotion. It's brutal physically, mentally and emotionally. Yet it's fragile.

I'm so sorry for Mara that she has to go through heartbreaking and mind bursting and every painful experience that you could think of. But through all those things. She's become stronger and stronger and more fearless. And through all of it, thank God because she's got friends and brother to help her make it. I admire Jamie and Stella's loyalty to their friend. Through thick and thin, they've been there for Mara. Jamal especially. He's given Mara smiles and laughter in the midst of unruly circumstances. I really really loved that district twelve scene tho. haha. I laughed so hard. hahaha. It's just sad to see Stella leave but we have to understand that she's not yet that strong to fight with them. And Daniel. I'm having second thoughts about him at first and I feel so sorry because what I'm thinking false. HAHA. All along, he's been with Mara and if I would be asked, I want a brother like him.

And then there's Noah. In action and in words, he's the sweetest guy ever. He loved Mara to ruins. He did everything for her. He chose to be with her. And that's all that matters. No more ifs and buts.

It's been a long ride for Michelle Hodkins to come up with this incredible story. The influences of other great series was also manifested in the book, and my fangirl feels for HP,THG, LOTR and many more. Though I was a little bit off coz there's a SAW like theme and it creeps me out. really. the movie Saw is one of my not-to-watch movie. hahaha. Kidding aside, the series is amazing. How she had written the story is amazing and what I am really amazed how she opened and closed the series with this: My name is not Mara Dyer

and you will soon find out.

The Evolution of Mara Dyer

The Evolution of Mara Dyer - Michelle Hodkin michelle hodkin's writing still creeps me out. she's good in cliffhanging. but i just felt that this book progresses slowly. it's not that's it's boring but I just felt less excited on what will happen. however, the mystery is still there and it's something I look forward to the whole time I am reading this.

And still a shout out to Noah Show. Ughhhhhh that guy. He is so lovable and sweet and perfect. I'm so jealous of Mara right now ❤❤❤

haha. let the Retribution start. yeyyyyy ☺

We Were Liars

We Were Liars - E. Lockhart I don' want to spoil E. Lockhart's genius writing. You'll know what I am saying when you read this.

Amazing. Great. Superb. All words similar to this. That's what We Were Liars for me.

A MUST MUST READ!!!!!!!

The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer

The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer - Michelle Hodkin The whole time I was reading the book, I kept on asking myself will the story get any stranger. Don't get me wrong but the strangeness and the confusion the book gives me makes me love it more and more. There's this point where I could not keep reading the book cause it was already midnight and it creeps me out. Revelations were slowly unfolded and I didn't expect a surprise from Noah Shaw. The romance and paranormal feels keeps the story together. But for the last few pages of the book, I think I totally lost it. I can't cope up but the author still managed to direct it's readers where the story is really going. The ending tho. It gave me the chills. If Jude's appearance a real thing or not is a cliffhanger ending. I'm preparing myself for something big but suddenly it's the end. And it makes me mad(positively mad). I want to get to the next book asap. Maybe my questions will be answered on the next sequel. It's for me to find out.

Also, I would like to give a shout out to the characters. they are remarkable especially Daniel Dyer and Noah Shaw. I so love Noah Shaw. His willingness to fix Mara and be with Mara is too cheesy but you can feel the sincerity. I wish Mara could see how lucky she is to have Noah always by her side. And a brother like Daniel of course.

My True Love Gave to Me: Twelve Holiday Stories

My True Love Gave to Me: Twelve Holiday Stories - Rainbow Rowell, Holly Black, Laini Taylor, Myra McEntire, Kiersten White, Stephanie Perkins, Gayle Forman, Matt de la Pena, Jenny Han, Ally Carter, Kelly Link, David Levithan Different stories. Different feels. Different beliefs. Different traditions. But everything is with love and about love. It took me to places. And my most favorite part while reading it is the Christmas feels, the calm and exciting feels for the Yuletide Season.

I have to give credits to Ally Carter coz Star of Bethlehem really got my heart the most. But I love all the stories. I promise ❤

Isla and the Happily Ever After

Isla and the Happily Ever After - Stephanie Perkins "The best part.. THE HAPPILY EVER AFTER."

This is really the best closure for the series. Of all three, Isla and Josh's love story is the best love story ever told. Don't get me wrong. I love Anna and St. Clair's and Lola and Cricket's but in my opinion, Isla and Josh's is the sweetest.

I've first met Isla in Anna and the French Kiss and I guess I'm having a wrong impression on her. Yes, she's an introvert but she's really good in speaking her mind out loud. I love how open and how bold she is in this book. Josh also was first introduced in the first book and finally I've came to know him better.

Picturing the two of them, together, really give me the butterflies that it breaks my heart the moment they have to be in their own way temporarily. coz as Josh has said SPACES... BREAKS... TO CONTEMPLATE THINGS... TO FIGURE OUT WHAT'S IMPORTANT..." In a span of short time they've gone through the best and worst times. Credits to KISMET (oh how I loved this word) it all started there. and of course to SOAP too. haha. But seriously, it was too adorable that they have liked each other ever since but we're not able to get to know how they feel not until their senior year. I agree with Sanjita(former besfie of Isla) that they balance each other. Theirs is MY ideal love story(setting aside the his-parents-are-one-of-the-most-prominent-people-in-the-country part). Adventures, dates, travels, risks, heartbreaks and love. I love everything about their story. That's why my eyes were soring from tears i don't want to fall because of the book Josh gave to Isla, to show her how much she meant to him. I don't want to be the drama queen because only Isla's allowed to have the moment. But you should agree with me that it's the sweetest. isn't it? Josh is the sweetest. And I'm so happy that they found happily ever after in each other's arms.

Oh not to mention Anna and Etienne. Congrats on their engagement ♥♥♥

I love this book. I love this series ♥♥♥

"Tomorrow. Right now. I only want you."

The Queen

The Queen - Kiera Cass Queen Amberly is the sweetest. She's full of love, hope, understanding and dedication. Through her, I've came to know King Clarkson. He's sweet in his own little way. It's just that he wants to be a better leader than his parents. He wants Illea to move forward. That's why he's like that.

Before I Fall

Before I Fall - Lauren Oliver the writing for this book is genius. the plot is not really simple nor complicated. it's just deep.

to be able to live the moment you are about to die is a lot for Sam(the main character) to take. and to be able to make a difference, as she start to realize things after living the same moment over and over again, is courageous. and if i am friends with sam, i would be very very proud of her. like what she said, it's never too late. never too late to set things right, to enjoy your life, to love, to say sorry. and sam was given the chance, not once, not twice, but seven times. and i am delighted that she set aside her pride and took courage to right what is wrong before everything comes to its end.

i recommend this for all, especially teenagers.

How to Love

How to Love - Katie Cotugno Katie did a good job for her debut novel. One of my fast reads. The 'After' and 'Before' scenes weaves the story altogether. The book pictures a scene which happens in real life. And from there, the story progresses.

Sawyer is a total jerk. I just can't accept him. HAHA. He makes me feel bitter. I don't know why, he just did. I felt sorry for Serena that she had fallen for someone like Sawyer. She's beautiful and intelligent and she could have conquered the world. But we all know love very well.

But tbh, serena is one lucky girl. even if it's a mistake, God still gave her a very adorable daughter, understanding best friend and supportive family. If it's me, i don't think i would know how to handle everything. So, I still look up to her because she's one brave girl.

Lullabies

Lullabies - Lang Leav Lang Leav is just so good in giving the feels. You just can relate in every words she had written. Full of love and it just soothes me. Thumbs up!

The Best of Me

The Best of Me - Nicholas Sparks I gave you the best of me, he'd told her once, and with every beat of her son's heart, she knew he'd done exactly that.

and I just finished another work full of love, joy, pain and tears from [a:Nicholas Sparks|2345|Nicholas Sparks|https://d.gr-assets.com/authors/1332884095p2/2345.jpg]. I am writing this review right after I finished reading the book and it's kinda hard for me to put all the emotions into words coz it's just... hard. seriously, my words can't really give justice to the intensity of book. all i know is that i was hurt, i was thrilled, i was threatened, i felt the love, i felt the joy. i just felt every single emotion that the story wants its reader to feel.

in all ways, i have related myself to Amanda even though I haven't been married and I didn't have children because like her, I, myself, also believe that somewhere out there, you'll find this one person who will love you and you will love for a lifetime. And it's just what every girl wants. The security you feel when someone you love loves you as much as you do.

and then there's Dawson. so much respect for this guy. really. because he loved selflessly.

others might say, happily ever after determines true love. but for amanda and dawson, it's actually not the happily ever after, it's how much they have loved and will love each other even from a far and it's more than enough.

Champion: A Legend Novel

Champion: A Legend Novel - Marie Lu And then it's done.

the ending is actually a no no for me cause i still want more :( :)) but still, marie lu never fails to amaze me. hands down to how she writes. this series is really worth the read. gonna miss day and june :( their love story is not sickening :)

Prodigy

Prodigy - Marie Lu He is beauty, inside and out.
He is the silver lining in a world of darkness.
He is my light.

not all good things end well. huhuhu. why is that so? and kaede. i'm actually expecting something big's happening to kaede after always being there to help our Phantom and Prodigy. but no. And Anden, after all good things he has done, I still can't see right through him. Miss Marie Lu's really good with giving surprises. And with the ending, it actually seems that it's really the end. I honestly can't think of any idea on what will Champion be like. HUHU. It must be a very very big twist in the story huh.

Next stop, Champion. YEY!

The Siren

The Siren - Kiera Cass Kiera Cass gave an amazing ride as I entered, for the first time, the world of Sirens. She had written this beautifully. It was a very refreshing view, a vintage, at the same time, mysterious feels as I read the book. I dont think I can see the Ocean and the Sea the way I used to before. HAHA. And to be honest, I envy Kahlen. Coz she was given the opportunity to travel(a lot). Huhu. That's all. Haha. This book got me craving more to travel the world too. HAHA.

This is full of love and friendship. There's something deep in this book that I couldn't really put it into words. But really, the book's amazing. It's a sweet reminder that life is and will always be wonderful, so live it. YOLO.

Applause guys. applause.

The Choice

The Choice - Nicholas Sparks "If conversation was the lyrics, laughter was the music, making time spent together a melody that could be replayed over and over without getting stale."

How could Nichols Sparks make his readers cry every time he does his writings. I'm just starting part two but my eyes wet already. My heart feels Travis's agony as he sits beside her wife, waiting for her to wake up. I'm hurt. I'm moved. And that part is what I loved the most. The part where Travis keeps on surprising me how much he had loved and will love Gabby.

At first, it might be wrong for Gabby to love Travis while she still has a boyfriend. But then, their love is stronger. They're happier together.

How far should a person go in the name of true love? Gabby and Travis will be the best answer.

The School for Good and Evil

The School for Good and Evil - Soman Chainani Embrace yourselves with this new world. This is indeed not-your-ordinary fairytale. A story of friendship, love and fantasy.

Forever an EVER! ♥

And I cant wait to read A World without Princes ☺
